VIPASSANA MEDITATION

Weekend Retreat: 25 & 26 October

 

We suffer because our minds are not free. We are in the grip of negative thoughts, emotions and habits. The inability to manage our thoughts is a principal cause of suffering. Learning to tone down the ceaseless cascade of disturbing thoughts is a big step on the road to inner peace. Through meditation practice we learn how to let go and step into freedom. Learn the techniques of calm abiding (shamatha) meditation so that you can be more peaceful, relaxed and at ease. Increase your understanding of yourself and of life with Vipassana (insight) meditation so that you can free yourself from self-limiting thoughts and emotions that destroy your happiness and peace of mind.
